We believe that it is our duty to be effective advocates for the young people we serve. They are amongst the most disadvantaged in our community and this means that we must provide the best education, care and guidance possible.
As educators our focus is on individual progress and this necessarily includes building self-belief and a sense of self-worth. We are best able to achieve this by creating a learning environment and culture that supports the individual and that is built upon strong positive relationships.
We believe that to meet these aims we must value, challenge and develop ourselves, and our colleagues; to constantly strive for quality. We also believe that these principles are a matter of social justice and our commitment to these values form our Moral Purpose.
